I am now working in partnership with the small engineering arm of a global corporation who are looking for an ambitious and talented Senior RF Electronic Design Engineer to join a mixed team of hardware and firmware engineers. Working within a challenging industry you will be required to think outside the box and bring innovative ideas to the table.
Your role will be to take leadership in the design of high quality multiple radio RF systems with full lifecycle responsibility of short-range RF embedded devices for both the existing portfolio and the future roadmap. This includes the test and diagnosis of RF hardware and its functionality; Verification and characterisation of designs using RF test equipment; Leading functional and EMC compliance and conducting research into various new technologies.

In order to carry out this role and hit the ground running you will need to be skilled in:
Key Skills
-Strong RF systems knowledge
-RF Electronic Design
-RF test tools such as Wideband Radio Communication Testers, Network and Spectrum Analysers
-Knowledge of design for EMC and EMC testing
-Knowledge of cellular network technologies such as GSM, UMTS, CDMA2000, LTE
-Knowledge of common wireless local area networking technologies such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
-Antenna design, especially in the 700MHz to 3GHz frequency band
