Role: IT support ConsultantLocation: North LondonSalary: £35,000 We are currently looking for a technically advanced, experienced and highly motivated individual. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with proven technical expertise, problem-solving ability and aspirations to undertake diverse IT projects from proposal to implementation. The successful candidate will be comfortable with flexible working hours to undertake planned security updates, system maintenance and upgrade work. The Role: -To be responsible for overseeing Network and full desktop support for external customers as well as internal users, handling any issues and resolving faults in a timely manner relating to the operations of hardware and software.- To work in partnership with clients, advising them how to use information technology in order to meet their business objectives or overcome problems. Work with the IT services team to improve the structure and efficiency of IT systems.- To be responsible and provide technical support for all network infrastructure services, internal, hybrid and cloud services. These services also include CCTV, access controls, BMS, Digital signature, Entry systems and Intercom services and any other services that require network connectivity.- To provide technical support to both 1st and 2nd line engineers and act as the main point of technical escalation.- To help design and deliver hybrid cloud solutions.- To provide business plans and audit reports on IT services as and when required.- To mentor and supervise IT technical staff as necessary. This can include apprentices, IT Technicians and contractors.- Deputise for the Head of IT Services in the event of absence or unavailability. Experience/Knowledge/Skills desired: - Previous experience in a highly technical environment managing a windows focused network and infrastructure.- Experience of Windows Server Infrastructure, VMware- Set up, Management and maintenance of virtual environments.- Detailed knowledge and experience with the following - SCCM, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, ADCS, RDS- Experience in a customer facing role with a strong focus on technical communication to all levels.- Degree in a technically relevant area.- Windows MSCE or relevant commercial experience as an equivalent If you think this could be the role for you then send your CV to [email protected]
