Avionics Trainer / Operational SME (SC)

My client urgently requires an Avionics Trainer / Operations SME to be based at the client site in Hampshire. Travel to various customer sites throughout the UK required 50% of the time.

Overview: Delivering a pre-determined AMPA training program to military personnel of varying ranks, covering both Aircrew and support staff (Operations, System Administrators, Intelligence etc). Supporting the maintenance and update of the training program and tailoring courses as required by the customer. Providing expert aviation advice to the Account on key areas in line with the SME role. Interpreting customer requirements and working with the relevant AMPA project teams to ensure correct understanding and translation of these. Assistance in the testing and evaluation of the various software release cycles. Providing support to engineering release demonstrations.

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

*Training delivery.

*Preparation and update of course documentation.

*Liaising with relevant Project managers to provide SME advice as required.

*Overseas travel to deliver training to foreign customers as necessary.

*Support to Sales and Business development initiatives with demonstrations and conference briefings.

Key Knowledge and Skills

Essential

*Ex- military aircrew with fast jet experience.

*Proven record of Instructional Technique for training delivery to all ranks.

*Broad knowledge of aviation domain.

*Prior AMPA user with sound knowledge of the system.

*Strong communication skills

Desirable

*Qualified Weapons Instructor

*OEU Experience

*Requirement analysis skills

*Understanding of military testing and Release to Service requirements / processes
