Head of Project & Programme Management

Spring are working in partnership with one of the largest and most respected organisations in Sheffield to recruit a Head of Project & Programme Management

The Role

The successful candidate will plan, develop and implement a range of IT services throughout our clients business, this will deliver high quality and cost effective solutions to our client's users. You will also ensure that IT projects are scoped and resourced properly, planned and delivered on time and to budget.

You will be the head of projects for one of the largest and most well established organisations in the Yorkshire Region.

The Responsibilities

*Management of all projects across the business from basic projects to the implementation of critical systems.

*Implement and maintain clear and robust project management techniques and systems across the business.

*Manage and develop the work reception process to ensure that impacts of the projects worked on are understood by the business departments.

*Contribute to business cases and proposals for collaboration, innovation and development.

*Maintenance of the organisational IT infrastructure document.

*Management of the risk registers within the IT Department including regular reviews.

*Management of complex stakeholder relationships

The Requirements

*Proven experience working in a senior programme/project management capacity

*Ideally certified within project and/or service management

*Demonstrable experience of delivering complex £multi-million projects on time and on budget

*Ability to present complex technical issues to a non-technical audience

*Demonstrable understanding of project management methodologies

*Demonstrable experience of managing and working with highly technical teams

*Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable at presenting at all levels.

*Previous experience of a technical IT environment
