The Role
This role sits within a team that is responsible for the Live Service Delivery of all aspects of the core infrastructure managed by Fujitsu. The team support Production, Disaster Recovery, Live Acceptance Proving, Test and Development services on a 24/7 basis.
Working with the latest versions of Solaris andLinux virtualization, you will berequired to provide operating system support and maintenance for Linux (SUSE and RHEL) based. You will require working knowledge of these operating systems, ability to produce UNIX scripts and knowledge of Cloud computing principles to support the team's aims to manage, monitor and maintain our services and particularly our cloud service offerings.
Essential Skills:
Background in a support role preferably at 2nd line levelStrong Linux knowledge and exposureProven ability to problem solveAbility to work independentlyAble to attain and maintain SC clearanceDesirable Skills:
Bash or Shell scripting experience Solaris or Unix Infrastructure and VirtualizationSUSE or RHEL LinuxOEL LinuxUnderstanding of SAN principlesUnderstanding of Cloud computing principlesThe Company
