Top end Salary strictly £40,000, please don't apply if you are looking for anything higher.My client, a pioneer in their sector are looking for a talented Business Analyst to work alongside the Product Manager and help make a difference in their growing company. You would act as the go between of the Product Manager and the Development Team, working on a host of interesting projects. Communicating across all different levels of the company this is an excellent opportunity to expand your skills and progress your career.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Gather and define requirements with stakeholders and/or third parties using comprehensive tools and techniques
- Creating effective Business Requirement Documents with clear priorities in relation to project objectives
- Spelling out the project details and requirements by creating user stories and acceptance criteria ensuring transparency and sign off by the Product Owner and/or internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with Product Owner and/or internal stakeholders to map requirements to standard features and functions
- Acting as a conduit between the development team and stakeholders in translating requirements into both technical and non-technical speak/language to facilitate communications and engagement
- Helping to shape and define team practices and processes to continually improve agile ways of working
Qualifications and Skills
Essential skills
- Time spent in a similar focused Business Analysis role within either a SaaS, software house or enterprise solution provider
- Exposure to development of processes and business solutions, redesigning processes across multiple departments and functional teams to support effective operation and business change
- Strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to communicate and build relationships effectively with a broad range of people, both verbal and in writing
Desirable
- BCS Diploma in Business Analysis (ISEB) practitioner level or above
- Exposure to working with development teams in an Agile delivery setup
- Science, Maths, or Computer Science related degrees
- Previous work with APIs
- Sector knowledge (Hospitality)
- JIRA and Confluence
- Mix of analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
