I am currently looking for experienced Consultants up to Managers in the Global Trade & Customs area within data analytics, data visualisation or data engineering. My client is one of the world's leading management consultancy firms with various locations across Europe available, however particularly locations of interest are UK, Ireland and the Benelux region. This role is an exciting one looking at working within an advanced and established analytics function continuously growing across the EU. This will include developing & building data models, databases and also analytics projects leveraged with top data visualisation tools. Key Responsibilities of the role in Global Trade & Data consultancy; Start to finish engagement facilitation including data collection, processing, code writing and data visualisation. This will include identification & documentation of project requirements in data.Implementation after design of Data Analytics solutions including the likes of; data models, frameworks, visualisation and other analytical tools and applications.Applying analytical models, extracting and articulating the added value from client data and conducting first level reviews of the client deliverables.Contributing to innovation and generation of new ideas to improve projects & client experience. In turn, you'll also research new tools and applications. This can also include assisting in proposal development and other selling initiatives to build on team success. Other skills and attributes, which are valued within the team, are team player abilities, customer service focussed, able to travel, entrepreneurial, strong analytical & numerical skills and most importantly the ability to work with unstructured, ambiguous and at times messy data. Essential & Desirable Skills in Global Trade & Data consultancy; Data Manipulation including Data Cleaning & Management.Value of Data Analytics and able to bridge the technology gap to non-technical stakeholders.Data Visualisation tools such as Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau, Spotfire or Qlikview.Advanced level of skills on Microsoft Excel.Research, learn and apply technology to solve business issues.Desirable experience in machine learning development, professional services environment, data/algorithm/analytical software development OR scripting/programming languages would be a great plus to an application.Desirable qualities in SAP GTS or SAP ABAP would strongly support an application.
