QA Automation Engineer

London - Covent Garden

£60000 - £70000 per annum

An exciting opportunity has just arisen for an experienced Automation Test Engineer to join an emerging, forward-thinking financial services organisation based in Central London. This Technically astute Engineer will become a key member of the Testing team, and they will be responsible for ensuring that the businesss testing activities are delivered with quality and punctuality. This role involves taking ownership of the QA function and advising on QA strategy. Due to further expansion into the London market, the right candidate will have the opportunity to extend their work further beyond this project. Start-up environment with excellent career growth potential.

Requirements

* Experience working in an agile environment

* Strong test automation experience in Cucumber BDD, Selenium, Robot Framework or other tool sets

* Experience testing web-based and mobile applications

* Knowledge in quality assurance methodologies and has awareness of new and emerging technologies and developments

* Good applications/technology knowledge has practical experience of and is proficient with testing tools and frameworks

* Understanding of software security and designing robust systems

* Deep understanding of functional and non-functional testing

* Performance testing experience (desirable)

* ISTQB (Desirable)

* Proficient in one or more of the conventional scripting languages (Java, C#, Python, Ruby)
