Oracle EPM ConsultantOur client who are a leading insurance organisation in the City require an experienced Oracle EPM consultant to provide advice on best practice as well as a technical understanding of Oracle EPM including the design and configuration.The organisation itself strive to improve the lives of their employees by promoting a strong work life balance as well as offering the ability to drive your own learning and development.Role responsibilities:

'€¢Advice on best practice and process in FP&A to ensure that there is clarity, accuracy and timeliness through the planning , budgeting and forecasting process'€¢Designing and configuring Oracle EPM in order to deliver and maintain a solution that best accommodates the needs of the clients business'€¢Advising on the solution options that will accommodate client requirements and ensuring that advantages and disadvantages of these are clearly understood and are in line with company strategy'€¢Problem solving to identify and action appropriate remedies for technical issues associated with EPM applications and related components'€¢Understanding of the use of EPM in the clients context and retaining strong relationship with business partners and stakeholders'€¢Support, where appropriate, the requirements gathering process providing guiding and support to ensure decisions are made in line with company strategy and standards'€¢Active engagement in the planning, scoping, managing and creation of deliverables as part of a team supporting / implementing EPM functionality'€¢Delivery of tasks related to the EPM technology including support, change and test related activities

Skills required:

'€¢Good working knowledge of the financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes'€¢Relevant experience working in financial / commercial roles preferably within the insurance sector'€¢Hands on experience with planning, budgeting and forecasting tools ideally Oracle with implementation experience'€¢Ability to translate technical information to non-technical individuals is essential, as well as the ability to present this to a range of audiences at different levels of the organisation in a clear and concise way'€¢Excellent communication skills
