Java Developer / Architect London to £110k

Java Developer / Architect (Software CI/CD Agile Java). Global FinTech is seeking is seeking a highly skilled Java Developer / Architect to join the Software Architecture Team to architect and design OTC pricing and Exchange Market Making systems; identifying and developing strategies for long term renovation.

As a Java Developer / Architect you will be responsible for both short and long term business projects, assessing the impact and proposing solutions; you'll partner with development teams throughout project delivery and liaise with business experts and development teams to refine and determine solutions ensuring integration and conformance to related architectural policies and strategies.

Requirements:

Experience of designing / architecting large, distributed systems

Good knowledge of low latency high performance processing and messaging technologies / architectures

Strong core Java software development background

Ability to think at high level and see the big picture as well as the technical detail

UML modelling skills

Good knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI/CD) and Build systems

Good understanding of Agile principles and how to apply them

Collaborative team member with excellent communication skills; approachable, pragmatic and able to achieve buy-in
