Contract Project Manager - West Yorkshire - £595 p/day

Spring are recruiting for a Project Manager on a programme in West Yorkshire.

Duties:

* Work with the Process Change Leads and Business sponsor to strive and exceed the stretching Return on Investment for individual work packages.

* To manage the portfolio of work packages within the work stream

* To report progress and promote new ideas for consideration at weekly team meetings and aligned to Programme cadence

* To ensure a robust governance process is adhered to

* To effectively liaise with other work stream programme managers, where applicable, to ensure plans are aligned to deliver the optimal solution which will deliver against the company purpose

* To manage all risks within the portfolio and to report these risks to the Process changes leads and Programme Manager via standard reporting cadence and systems

* Demonstrate and embed project management best practice in the programme of activities, including management of daily standups.

Essential

* Experience of managing and leading a project team with a proven track record of driving sustainable performance against challenging business targets.

* Experience of business planning, resource and budget management.

* Develops and maintains effective internal and external relationships.

* Experience of strategic thinking, establishing clear strategic direction and implementing plans to deliver.

* Experience of leading and embedding change, able to influence and drive right culture and behaviours.

*Exposure to projects involving situational awareness and/or operational process management/monitoring systems.

*Experience with data intensive and advanced analytics projects.

*Organisational change

Desirable

* Previous experience in an operational and / or strategic leadership role in a commercially orientated and / or regulated environment.
