Senior Software DeveloperEdinburgh£55,000 - £58,000 I'm working with a leading Microsoft Partner based in Edinburgh who are going through a period of continued expansion and have got the need for someone who's been there, done that, and happy to help others wear the T-shirt!You'll be focused on both Technically being a fountain of knowledge for junior members of the team, as well as being happy to roll your sleeves up and get involved in coding!In return, you will have the chance to guide and shape a brand new Development team within the business and impart both your knowledge to the team, but be involved in key strategic decisions regarding the direction of the practice as a whole.The technical stack is about as good as it gets - .NET Core, Azure Development and Microservices Architecture is the key systems used, but that's not to say you won't have exposure to a number of other technologies across the Microsoft space. Technically, you should be proficient in;C#.NET (3.5 or above)Azure Development (Either Cloud Native, or deploying solutions to the Azure platform).Working with Data Stores; SQL Server/Azure Storage.Familiarity with Agile practices, and Agile development methodologies is key; including the ability to code review, and debug operating solutions.As the work you'll be involved in sits within the Finance industry; any/all exposure to technologies relating to this industry would be beneficial (i.e. OAuth2, SAML 2.0 or OpenID Connect, Azure Application Insights).
