Lead Software Developer (Java Spring Python Linux Go). Are you a technologist who wants to remain hands-on as well as leading and developing a team of like-minded individuals? As a Lead Software Developer you'll provide technical leadership and set the standards; focussing on delivering a wide range of improvements to the current platform due to growth and scalability challenges. You will decide on the associated tools, user-interfaces and test automation tools; be responsible for leading and managing the workload of the team, including mentoring and recruitment as well as managing stakeholders across the business.

Requirements:

*Strong Java (including Spring, Hibernate) and / or Python or Go coding skills

*Experience of multi-threaded 3-tier architectures, web services and caching

*Thorough understanding of Object Orientated Programming, Design Patterns

*Experience of developing in a Unix/Linux environment, including basic sys-admin and scripting (shell, Perl)

*Experience of leading a small team
