The RoleWe are looking fora number of Senior Infrastructure Architects to join a dynamic bid team. They will work closely with the Sales and Offerings teams to produce bid collateral on a wide variety of bids and tenders which vary in size and complexity.
Working alongside a team of dedicated professionals, you will be driven to provide better, faster, more effective solutions. This is a fast paced environment where you will have the chance to grow and build upon your existing knowledge and ability.

Responsibilities
The role will report into the Capability Lead/CTO and encompass the following disciplines and responsibilities:Complete responsibility for technical input to qualification and business approval meetings.Shapes technical proposals to be commercially acceptableTo take ownership of solutions for specific key areas and managing the impact of any changes which affect the architecture of the solutionLeads the definition of customers' overall IT architecture, designing new solutions of significant size and complexity.Maintain reusable collateral for future opportunitiesInteracting with other Architect and programme disciplines during delivery and/or transformation to operations and EMEIA wide teams to ensure architectural conformance to process model and standards.Manage 3rd parties and their technical deliverables.The Ideal Candidate
You should be able to demonstrate the following:Infrastructure architect with skills on how to migrate workloads (servers, storage and applications) to a cloud service.Ability to assess existing workloads, identifying dependencies and interactions with other services in order to create a migration schedule including a backout plan that is suitable for use in an AS environment.Ability to write bid responses and generate costs.Exposure in using tools such as Doubletake, Platespin, Cristie, Robocopy and VMware toolsets to perform migrations would be highly advantageous.
Essential Technical Skills
Excellent design exposure in proposing and utilizing Microsoft server technologies.Core infrastructure solutions delivery which combine both physical and virtual server implementations, throughout the design and implementation lifecycle.Virtualisation technologies.Server physical architecture design including usage of System Architect (preferable).Microsoft technology design and implementation.Soft Skills Client-facing skills at senior-level discussion, with the ability to communicate ideas and thoughts to senior executives. With strong leadership skills tooA detailed knowledge of the Infrastructure Design Methodology and implementation.Negotiating, bringing consensus, running technical workshops.Written communications - clear technical writing and presentation.The Company
