6 MonthsWould you like to work for the UK's most innovative and clear market leader in media and broadcasting?We are looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst, you will be working closely with the multiple technical departments working on a new online video platform, to be launched outside of Europe.As a Technical Analyst / Agile Product Owner you'll be knowledgeable and passionate about technology and product development, enjoy working with other smart people and use agile to ensure your projects succeed. You are experienced in, and follow best practice in, Agile and analytical methods. You will possess business acumen and will have experience in business & technical analysis on highly complex solutions. Using a collaborative approach, you will work in an agile team to distil the product vision into delivery with a relentless focus on the customer and on business value.In the main, your responsibilities will be;Act as the Product Owner for a technical Scrum, participating with architects, developers and testers in defining the product backlog. Typical responsibilities include:Definition of interface changes between systems/componentsDefining technical and user stories to support new functionality or changes to existing, this often involves close collaboration with architects and developers as well as client servicesWrite stories that with clarity and acceptance criteria ensure the successful delivery of the feature/s in bi-weekly releases.Organise and lead regular planning games and showcasesParticipate in agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups and retrospectives.Collaborate with Product Managers and Delivery Managers to create a roadmap and prioritised backlog that communicates a common vision and criteria for success for the product. Ensure the roadmap is kept up-to-date and communicated accordingly.Be the primary source of information and truth for the product and leverage this expertise to provide insight and clarity.Collaborate with the Scrum Master to organise and prioritise the team's work.Promote creativity and encourage technical innovation in the pursuit of business goals and targets.Be able to provide a consistent and coherent product vision at appropriate levels of detail for stakeholders, technical teams and the wider business.Leverage iterative development to maximize return - get the minimal acceptable feature depth to production quickly and continually grow feature richness in pursuit of benefit.Be able to understand and communicate the business value of features in a technical contextDeputise for the scrum master when neededThe successful candidate will possess the following;Technical analyst / agile product owner experience, ideally within a Scrum for a large organisation.Worked within a web environment and has an excellent understanding of web concepts including REST and RESTful servicesStrong technical understanding of high transactional backend systemsAble to quickly understand the full end-to-end functionality of all components within a complex architectureWorked within an integration/multi team environment.
