An Embedded Software Test Engineer and Senior Embedded Software Test Engineer are needed to join a company whose industry have an immediate impact on people's lives and therefore a role that is very rewarding. The company are going from strength to strength and this is part of expansion of their current team. Your role will be involved in taking products through research and development into the commercial sector.Ideally you will have at least two years' experience in industry in a software testing/development environment. Your role will be involved in the continuous integration and test plans logging and reporting documentation. You will also have had exposure/experience in GUI automation testing using frameworks such as Selenium.Core skills/Experience include:- 2+ years' experience in a software testing/development environmentExperience with continuous integration (CI) systems such as Jenkins, Travis CI, etcProduction of test plans, logging and reporting documentationGUI Automation testing, using frameworks such as Squish for Qt, or Selenium.Experience with Unit Testing and Mocking Frameworks, ideally covering headless and device-based testingDesign and implementation of automated and manual tests, as appropriate, to cover Module and system level testing as well as integration and regression testing.

Desirable Skills Experience with embedded software systems and firmware development is highly desired, as is experience of interfacing software with bespoke hardware. Some basic electronics knowledge would be beneficialExperience of scripting with PythonSafety critical standards EG: automotive, aerospace, medical
