This role is available as the company is expanding.The role.This programme will modernise and transform the company's Test and Evaluation capabilities in the UK. The associated implementation programme will cover all aspects of modernising and developing capabilities, including: introducing new facilities, refurbishment of existing facilities and developing modern working practices.An opportunity exists to join the ETE and Land Investments Delivery Team, specifically supporting the Land Investments Programme.You will be responsible for a number of Projects and tasked with ensuring our commitment to our internal and external stakeholders are met. Our projects have a diverse and complex stakeholder community, both internal and external to the company. Delivery through others is essential and ability to assemble the best team from not only in QinetiQ but wider industry is paramount.Key Accountabilities.The SENIOR project manager will lead and bring together a high performing team from across the company and wider industry to deliver a suite of projects to time, cost, quality and customer satisfaction;As a senior project manager will engender a vibrant and inclusive team dynamic, fostering a 'can do' approach;When requested, you will need to develop clear and compelling customer proposals;As the senior project manager, you need to be open, accurate and timely with project reporting, both to internal management and external customers;You must manage and control of project financial expenditure within authorised budget.The Fit.You need a minimum of 3 years (5 years desirable) within an Engineering and / or Project Management environment.You need experience of systems engineering and its application to successful project delivery.You need experience in Energetics / Estates Capital Investments or other closely related sectors (essential);Technical knowledge of Military Weapons Programmes is desired.To Apply If you're ready to apply, fantastic!
