My client, based in Bristol are looking for a RAN / Field Test Engineer to help them and their customers in the deployment of 5G. This is a contract role for 6 months and will require travel from Bristol, South England, and North London.
You will be working within a team of up to 30 engineers to design, test, and deploy network 5G radio products into outdoor applications. You will be testing low power 60Ghz radio products for range - behaviour - performance, and improvement.
The ideal candidate will have experience with:
Software tools for testing, debugging and analysis
Experience with integration into Hardware
Use of 802.11
Linux, Iperf, RAN, L2, L3/IP
Confident in learning quickly and working with a team/individually and customers personally
