Business Analyst - Technology

Leeds

Business Analyst required to work for this multinational professional services organisation in a technology led role and be a key contributor to the Technology Demand capability. Business Analysts are required to work with senior business stakeholders to resolve complex problems using Technology services. The Senior Business Analyst supports the co-ordination and management of Business Analysts and leads on the production of key IT deliverables on multiple IT projects.

Accountabilities

*Leads the shaping and Initiation phases of IT projects

*Helps co-ordinate or manage the work of Business Analysts

*Facilitates requirements conversations with Product Owners, Business and Delivery Teams

*Leads on development of requirements documentation and peer reviews (functional / non-functional)

*Documents Epics, Features, User stories to support internal software development

*Works with stakeholders to prioritise requirements

*Leads the development of IT business cases and cost/benefit analysis

Skills & Qualifications

*Experience working as a Business Analyst or similar within an IT or Change function

*Experience of process mapping (BPMN or similar), data modelling (ER Diagrams, system modelling (UML), requirements specification (User Stories, Functional Specifications)

*Desirable to have a recognised BA qualification e.g. ISEB, IIBA

*Desirable to have experience of development and requirements management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Team Services.

*Experience of different project methodologies including Agile (SCRUM, DSDM) and supporting tools (e.g. Kanban) or Waterfall methods.
