Data Architect Lead (Insurance) - LondonA leading consultancy with expertise in Big Data technologies are seeking a Data Architect Lead with experience in the Insurance industry, to join their team and lead Data Architecture activities with a number of different insurance clients.You'll be working at with a number of stakeholders at C-Level across a number of insurance clients, providing them with much-needed expertise and direction on Data Technologies that help them get the most from their data. You'll have a strong understanding of the problems faced in the insurance industry and how effective Data Analytics can help solve these problems and help businesses grow.Technology-wise you'll be fairly agnostic, but a preference is shown to candidates from a Cloud background (particularly MS Azure), with experience sought in Big Data, Enterprise Data Warehousing, Data Architecture and Design. You'll have a proven history of helping insurance customers modernise their data platform and keep a competitive edge.You'll be based a mixture of in office or on-site with customers in London, with some home-working too. Key Skills and experience include:- Expertise in Data Architecture- Extensive experience in either General Insurance or Lloyds of London Insurance Market- Expertise in Enterprise Data Warehouse platforms (SQL Server, Netezza, DB2, Teradata)- Experience in architecting solutions across one of the main cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)- Experience in working with Senior Stakeholders (C-Level, Directors etc.) This is a Permanent role, offering a competitive salary of around £90-110,00 plus bonus, benefits and car allowance, as well as share options.For this, and other exciting roles in Cloud Data Platform, contact Owen Mitchell on [email protected] or 0191 338 7552 in complete confidence ASAP.
