Supplier Governance Manager£55,000 - £63,000 + 15% bonus, private medical etc Leeds We're currently working on behalf of a growing financial services organisation who are seeking and experienced Supplier Governance Manager to be based at their office in Leeds.The role will lead the clients Supplier Management Centre of Excellence (SM CoE) to further develop Supplier Management practices and procedures within the organisation to ensure adequate controls are in place when managing suppliers.Key AccountabilitiesOwnership, operationalisation and oversight of Supplier Risk & Criticality assessment process and Supplier Risk Framework (SRF).Lead and develop the Supplier Management Centre of Excellence function to drive improved supplier management processes, systems and support provided to stakeholders.Provide induction & refresher training, ongoing advice, support and consultation to Supplier Managers & Accountable Executives to help them manage their supplier relationships effectively.Provide SRF quality assurance to assess adherence to framework and target imsprovements.Development, ownership and oversight of a Supplier Assurance programme to validate external supplier controls applicable to managing inherent risk. Desirable ExperiencePrevious line management responsibility.Relevant and proven supplier management experience in FS industry.Ability to drive continuous improvement and simplify complex requirements.Change management - embedding new systems & processes.Experience of operating a decentralised supplier management structure.Experience of conducting supplier audits.Ability to review & interpret supplier contracts.
