ICT Helpdesk TechnicianAre you looking to kick-start your career in IT? My client are a forward-thinking and proactive organisation looking to expand their ICT team with TWO new ICT Technicians. If you hold the following experience and are keen to begin your IT career, please apply.In this role you will be responsible for providing first-line support for the organisation's helpdesk function via telephone, email and face-to-face contact. It is imperative that you can provide a high level of customer service as you are the first point of contact for many users. As first-line support you will be expected to escalate calls when they cannot be resolved at level 1. Your main responsibilities will be;Logging helpdesk requests (via phone, email, online and face-to-face)Quickly responding to level 1 requestsRecognising when to escalate 1st level requestsOffering high level of customer serviceThe ideal candidate will have skills in;User software applications (Microsoft Office (2010/2013/2016/365)Hardwares and Mobile devices (laptop and desktop computing hardware)Windows 7/8/10Telephony (Skype for Business)Active DirectoryEnterprise user and device management toolsPreference will be given to candidates who have the following;HNC in ICT or related field (or similar level of experience)Microsoft Certification MTA or equivalentITIL Awareness
