Due to positive growth this successful well-established business has an opportunity for a Senior Control Systems Engineer to join a project team within the business.You will be working on various PLC, HMI & potentially some SCADA system projects for a customer base across the North West region on diverse industries such as oil & gas, manufacturing, water and waste water, food processing, waste recycling, infrastructure, energy and transportation industries. With challenging and interesting work which allows you to be constantly developing your capabilities then this may be the position for you.As a Senior Control Systems Engineer you would be involved in projects right from the initial specification through to in-house testing. You will be programming PLC & HMI's, so you will need to be familiar with writing code for the major brands of PLC and HMI platforms. You will be producing design documents, writing test documents, performing tests with customers and carrying out on-site commissioning when required. However travel will be only around 10% of the role and most customers are based in the North West so overnight stays are infrequent.This role offers a salary of £35,000 - £45,000 and highly flexible working hours starting anywhere between 07:00 & 11:00.
