Quality Control Packer / Packing Operative Quality Control Packer / Packing Operative The work location is in Holmes Chapel and is a 6 Months contract. Pay rate is between £11.17PH + 37.5% Shift Allowance = £15.36PH The role is working for a well-established pharmaceutical company, which specialises in the manufacturing of inhalation products DescriptionThe main purpose of this job role is to function test and pack final pharmaceutical products to cGMP and EHS standards. You will be ensuring the production plan and hence customer service is achieved utilising automated equipment/line. You will also be pro-actively problem solving and determine root causes of equipment (within scope of role)/line issues and implement corrective actions. This means you will develop, implement, improve and maintain line efficient initiatives (OEE). Key Skills:Must have Pharmaceutical ExperienceUnderstanding of cGMP systemsUnderstanding of EHS systemMinimum of 2 GCSE's in English and Maths and meets the required standard in the company selected aptitude tests Accountabilities:Function test and pack finished pharmaceutical products, including in-process checks on equipment as required.Operation of Function tester, Packing equipment and Line Vision System including interrogation of machine control systems.Complete cGMP documentation, including completion of Line Checks and accurate documentation of any atypical events.To pro-actively problem solve & determine root causes of vision system & equipment/line issues and implantation of corrective actions.Escalate technical issues to Line Leader as required.Maintain cGMP compliance ensuring corrective actions are appropriate and the validated status is not compromised.Escalate any non-compliant issues to Line Leader.Perform vision system and equipment set up at start of packing and at pack changeovers.Perform running adjustments of vision system & equipment during packing to minimise machine rejects.To develop, implement, improve & maintain line efficiencies (OEE)Involvement in continuous improvement activities such as reduction in pack changeover times.Comply with gowning requirements, and adopt appropriate behaviours, to meet Japanese packing requirements as necessary.Stock Movement.
