Due to positive growth and cultural change this successful well-established business has an opportunity for a Control and Automation Systems - Senior Controls Engineer to join the team.You would be working on varied PLC, HMI & SCADA systems projects for a UK customer base across such diverse industries such as oil & gas, manufacturing water and waste water, food processing, waste recycling, infrastructure, energy and transportation industries. If you would enjoy a role where no two days are the same, with challenging and interesting work which allows you to be constantly developing your capabilities then this may be the position for you.As a Senior Controls Engineer you would be involved in projects right from the initial specification through to in-house testing. You could be programming anything from PLCs to DCS to HMI to SCADA, so you will need to be familiar with writing code for the major brands of PLC and SCADA / HMI platforms.Your Main Responsibilities will be to lead projects and mentor others. You will be participating in the whole life cycle delivering projects from start to finish so you will be interfacing directly with customers and suppliers.You will be Producing design documents, writing test documents, performing tests with customers and carrying out on-site commissioning. This role offers a salary of £45,000 - £55,000 depending on the value you can bring to the business. You would also benefit from continual professional development which will ensure you keep up to date with industry and technological changes.
