Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer? Do you have experience in building services engineering?The company is a mechanical and electrical design consultancy. They have grown rapidly since being founded in 2014 and now work with several UK wide clients such as Network Rail, Transport for London and ASDA. Due to a sustained period of success, they are looking at expanding out the department and bringing in a Principal Electrical Design Engineer they can grow and develop through the business to learn the intricacies of Building Design to become a technical expertThe role will entail travelling out to client sites, surveying and liaising with customers in order to obtain the best possible design for each site. You'll then work on the electrical side of the design, using packages such as AutoCAD before writing up reports and specifications. The company will train you on the aspects of building design, familiarising you with the built environment and working with specialised software packages in order to technically progress you throughout the businessThe ideal person will be an electrical design engineer with 5+ years' experience, who is looking to diversify their skills and become a technical expert within a booming industry, with a company that is willing to provide the training and knowledge needed.The Role:* Principal Electrical Design Engineer
* Consulting with clients and contractors on designs and plans
* Producing design drawings and specifications
* Project management
* Training of younger staff
* £40,000 - £45,000 + Training + ProgressionThe Person:* Degree Qualified in Electrical Engineering
* Experience with AutoCAD
* Happy with a customer-facing role
* Live close to Basingstoke or consider relocating to the area
* Must hold UK Driving Licence
