Senior Frontend Developer:6 Month contract likely to extendFlexible daily rate depending on experienceBrisbane CBDYou will be working for a leading organisation in the industry, that offers flexible working and career progression.This is a day rate contract for an initial 6 months, highly likely to extend and there is potential to be offered a permanent role. Rate can be discussed as it will depend on experience.You will be working in a collaborative on-site team whilst liaising with colleagues interstate on a product that when finished will be used across Australia. Role Requirements:

Design, build and constantly improve the path to production, making use of automation and orchestration tools and technologiesEnsure repeatable success through use of agreed methodologies, including Agile project management, development and test practicesParticipate in the design, development, testing and 3rd level support of effective and high-quality solutionsDesign and execute automated performance tests to ensure that the application and supporting infrastructure are capable of scaling to meet periods of peak usageExperience Required:Experience with JavaScript based technologies and frameworks such as[API]: node.js, Restify/Express (API)[Web] React.js, Redux and Angular.jsKnowledge of software design patterns and best practices in software developmentExperience of continuous delivery practices such as CI, automated testing and continuous deploymentExcellent knowledge of common web and application architectures and development methodologies including Agile.Experience working on highly transactional and high performing websites/systemsGood experience with TDD, unit test, automation testGood understanding of RESTful API design principle, HTTP protocol and HTTP cachingExperience working with AWS or other cloud based infrastructure providersExperience working with Docker, application monitoring and profiling tools e.g. NewrelicWorking knowledge of Babel, web-pack, ECMA2015+, HTML5, CSS3 and meta-languages like CoffeeScript and SASS
