Senior Developer/ Senior Software Engineer - C# .Net - Cardiff or Bristol - £40,000 - £51,000 - plus 10% bonus and excellent benefitsOne of the UK's leading technology companies and most recognised brands is looking to hire a Senior software developer with strong C# .Net skills to join an important team, responsible for the design, development and continuous improvement of some of the business's most utilised and relied upon applications and systems.
We are looking for a Senior, hands on developer that can help set the technical direction of the engineering team, share their knowledge with junior colleagues, coach and mentor and lead projects from a technical aspect. We need someone who can use their extensive skills and ability to take stakeholder requirements and transform them into meaningful systems, whilst also picking up new skills and further developing themselves.
Essential skillsDetailed knowledge and hands on ability with C#, .Net and the Microsoft software engineering stackDeveloping software using TDD techniques and agile methodologiesProven background in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including design, development and testing.Willingness to improve own skills and learn new ones.Happy to share knowledge and mentor junior colleaguesTechnical leadership skillsAbility to communicate solutions to people of varying technical skills and key stakeholdersAbility to see 'the bigger picture'Proactive 'can do' attitude.This company holds research and innovation in high regard and truly is at the forefront of technology in its field.
