Elevation Recruitment Group are currently supporting a key Manufacturing client who are looking to recruit an IT Manager to join and manage their IT department. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for the end to end management of IT support, IT infrastructure, IT governance, IT security and IT budgets, along with running several IT projects, and managing and developing staff. Key Accountabilities: - Responsible for the effective running and management of IT Support and the ITSM system- 4th line support to the IT Support Engineer and Systems Administrator
- Review and report on service level agreements
- Report On IT Support KPIs each quarter
- Responsible for managing and maintaining the network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, MPLS and SHDS connectivity
- Responsible for maintenance and management of the VMWare ESXi Hosts and associated virtual servers
- Responsible for managing and maintaining all PABX phone systems
- Report on Infrastructure KPIs each Quarter
- Adopt and maintain an IT Governance framework for example ISO27000
- Create and maintain IT policies in line with the IT Governance framework
- Responsible for managing all registers and change management system
- Accountable for management of physical security for all building, including keys, alarms and CCTV systems
- Responsible for boundary protection, endpoint security and network security
- Track and maintain the capital and operational IT Budgets
- Manage an IT team consisting of IT Support Engineer and Systems Administrator
- Monitor the performance of staff members and support their development
- Responsible for delivering on multiple IT Programs and projects
- Maintain a good working relationship with our parent companies IT Departments, and participate in the monthly global IT managers meeting
- Negotiate and secure contracts with key suppliers of mobiles, internal telecoms, servers, disaster recovery and other IT related products and services Key Skills: - Three years+ experience working as an IT Manager or similar role
- Good project management skills
- Good understanding of TCP/IP networking, VLANs and Lan/Wan configurations - Microsoft Client and server install, application & configuration
- Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policies, Exchange, DHCP, DNS - VMware V-Centre & ESXi
- Veeam Backup & Replication
- Detailed infrastructure knowledge - Networking/connectivity/routers/switches/firewalls
- Confident communicator
- Driven and capable individual, with a high work ethic
- Excellent problem-solving skills
