A leading games tech company based in Dundee, Scotland are looking for DevOps engineers to join their expanding team. The DevOps Engineer role is an exciting and challenging role with many of different elements - some of the work you'll take on could include implementing scalability improvements to existing features, identifying potential weaknesses in our infrastructure through load testing, or researching new tools and processes.Throughout the work you'll be working mainly in AWS, using services such as DynamoDB, Redshift, SQS and Kinesis. However they also use MySQL, Redis and Ansible for automation. As you will be working with cutting edge technology there's loads of scope to innovate and introduce any improvements that help us move faster.Required Skills and QualificationsRequired Skills:Experience programming in a mainstream language such as PHP, C#, Java or PythonPositive attitude and a desire to deliver the best work you canExperience deploying and managing backend systems, web servers and databases in a Linux environment Desirable Skills:Experience with one of Ansible/Puppet/ChefExperience of high-availability, high-load operational environments.Experience with AWS Job Type: Full-timeSalary: Up to £45,000.00 /yearTo be considered for this role email me at [email protected]
