£65,000 - £75,000 + bonus and benefits
The Solutions Architect will work as part of the Global Infrastructure Team and report directly to the Head of Global Infrastructure and Enterprise Architecture. You will carry overall responsibility for the design and implementation of technical and infrastructure projects within the Group.
Working with the various technical teams in both infrastructure and development, the Infrastructure Architect will drive forward projects, acting as the technical authority and ensuring robust solutions are delivered to meet the needs of the business. A key deliverable of the Infrastructure Architect will be to ensure visibility of the overall solution, and that the various moving parts are coordinated and documented accordingly for handover to relevant support teams.
Responsibilities:-
Act as the technical lead and central point of contact for all IT and infrastructure projects.Take responsibility for all technical aspects of infrastructure projects, driving projects forward through to completion and resolving any technical issues that arise.Own technical projects from the initial idea phase through to delivery.Interpret key stakeholder requirements into solutions design.Design robust and appropriate solutions in order to meet business requirements.Produce high level documentation detailing how overall solutions fit together.Experience using technologies including:-
Azure, VMware ESXi and NSX, High availability and load balancing including clustering and Citrix NetScaler load Balancers, Core Microsoft systems e.g SQL, Exchange, Windows Server, Active Directory. Core networking stack e.g Firewalls, VPNs.
