Project Manager - Telecommunications - 6 months - London

Telecommunications client is looking for an experience Project Manager who will have a deep understanding of Project Management concepts and can apply methodologies (preferably PRINCE2) to a project of a technical nature to successfully manage projects to time, budget and quality specified.

Skills/ Experience:

Education and Experience

- Experience in leading, motivating, training, and building highly efficient work groups

- Qualified in a recognised Project Management discipline Essential -Prince 2 Practitioner / MSP / APM /Scrum - Desirable

- Project Management experience including leadership of a portfolio of projects for carrier Telecom networks.

- Experienced in the use of monitoring techniques and processes

- Experienced in identifying problem areas and alternative solutions for projects

- Able to devise and implement effective and efficient project plan changes.

- Can develop cost/benefit analysis, track actuals, and produce variance analysis reports.

- Has the knowledge and experience to ensure efficient utilisation of all resources required in projects

- Detailed understanding of Network Technologies and Systems (Data-centres, OSP, Fibre Optics, DWDM, Metro Ethernet, SDH, IP, CDN, Offnet Access)
