Working across every aspect of the life cycle of critical equipment and infrastructure, providing services and products that address our customers' most pressing challenges; our breadth and depth of experience spans many markets and industries.The roleResponsible for the development of database queries and the creation and testing of business reports using data from corporate systems, principally SAP (ECC6, CRM, BI and Business Objects) and Microsoft Project (PPM) data. Support to IT and business teams in monitoring, analysing and evaluating business reports and corporate applications.

Key Accountabilities:

Design, develop and maintain business reports using applications such as SAP BEx Query Designer and SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence.Design and application of test scripts for corporate business reports, primarily using SAP ECC, SAP CRM and Microsoft PPM data.Ensure that reports and applications perform reliably to meet the customer's functional needs and other requirements as defined in the application's project management or maintenance plan.Provide second line support to the wider business for enterprise reporting.Provide independent testing for application development, including designing test scripts.Provide technical assistance to other team members, as and when required.Work within existing safety and quality standards.Key Capabilities/Knowledge:Good interpersonal skills for team working, and working with customers.

* The ability to feedback test results and independent feedback to the development team.

* Good testing disciplines.

* Good written and oral communications skills, including presentation skills.

* Some knowledge of Microsoft technologies and their application.

* Some knowledge of Enterprise project management systems, especially Microsoft-PPM 2016.Experience & Qualifications:A formal qualification at college level, or an equivalent level of knowledge gained by practical work experience, is required to do this job

* Must hold SC Security Clearance or be suitable to obtain it

* Experience of SAP ETL (Extract, Transformation, Load) solutions including BEx Query Designer 7.4 and/or SAP Information Design Tool (IDT)

* Experience of Business Objects Web Intelligence 4.2 SP6, SAP ECC6, BI/BW 7.02
