Job Description: Overview of business area or project:Chopin is a strategic application to enable M&BIS users to manage analytical master data as well as business rules, that are then provided to various data warehouses and reporting applications. This application is based on the standard software EBX5 developed by TIBCO. For the application Chopin (ICTO-29388) application we require a new lead developer with strong experience in TIBCO's EBX5. Key ResponsibilitiesWork with new standard application for master data management in the areas 'Management & Business Information Systems' and 'Credit Risk'.Part of a diverse team with ~10 members spread over Zürich and Wroclaw.Close collaboration with the product owner in Zürich and the requirement providers.Position of lead engineer with strong influence on technical design as well as coordination responsibility among developers in Poland.Overview of the department / team (team size, backgrounds, personalities …):Diverse team with ~10 members spread over Zürich and Wroclaw. Team consistis of Java Developers, Testers and Requirements engineers Challenges Contractor will be facing in this role:As a lead engineer we expect the contractor to have in-depth knowledge of EBX5 by TIBCO and be able to guide the development team and be capable to work on design/architectural topics and as well on implementation tasks Essentials Skills and Qualifications:Graduation in computer sciences or related studies.Competency in design and development of master data management tools such as Orchestra Network's EBX5 as well as custom web applications development.Minimum experience of 10 years in IT and capable of working in a fast-paced project environment with evolving requirements.Strong communication skills in English in order to work with project team and stakeholders without difficulties.Capable of wearing multiple hats: technology guru, EBX 5.x/6.0 expert and senior developer.Well-rounded skill set in Java, J2EE, CSS, web services (SOAP/RESTful) and AJAX, to provide end to end Enterprise solutions. Desired Skills and Qualifications:- Familiar with Agile project lifecycle.- Database experience, especially with a relational database like Oracle.- Experience with HTLM5 Frameworks (e.g React-JS / Angular) would be an advantage Candidate Value Proposition: - Enhance a critical master data management application with diverse tasks and challenges.- Work in a multicultural team spread over India, Poland and Switzerland.- Be the main responsible for the solution design and architectural vision.
