Salary: £20000 - £23000 per annum
We are looking for a community support assistant to join our team. The candidate should have an interest in education technology and social media.
An ideal candidate will have a passion for educational technology and be excited about the impact it can have on improving childrens literacy levels. They will also have an interest in sharing their ideas through social media and have an interest in blogging.
Our company is a creative writing website, a storybook series published by Oxford University Press, and a new animated series on Sky TV.
Job Description and Requirements
We are looking for a new Community Support Assistant. In this role, you will work with the sales, marketing and product teams, with the focus on developing and growing an engaged community of parents and teachers.

Main responsibilities:
o Moderating content produced by children on the website
o Regularly posting on the blog and sharing fun teaching ideas on social media
o Creating new educational content for our community of teachers
o Curating childrens writing submissions and featuring them on the website
o Promoting our company using social media channels
o Supporting teachers and parents using our website in their schools
o Communicating with teachers and children directly
o Planning and running our company events
o Taking care of magical animals*
Requirements:
o The candidate should have an interest in primary school level education
o An excellent standard of written English
o Be comfortable with a range of technologies
o A degree-level education (desirable)
o Be very confident and enjoy using social media channels such as Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter and Facebook
o Experience operating a Teleporting Torch
Must have:
- Strong written english skills
- Interest in social media and blogging
- Prior experience of working with primary school children
Working Hours:
o 9.00am - 6.00pm
o Flexible hours can be discussed
