Contract role: Technical LeadLocation: Manchester - Walkable from Piccadilly stationContract length: 6 Months - Likely to extend beyond thisDay rate: £500 - £550 per dayIdeal start date: 8th July - Can wait up to 6 weeks for the right personProject type: Migration of an existing application Skills and experience we are looking for…My client are looking for someone from a Java development background who has solid Tech Lead experience and the ability to interact with 3rd parties.As a Tech lead you would be responsible for understanding the existing system and be able to get the developers up to speed from another team where the project is being migrated over to in the US. You would be the go to technical person for both the US team and also the team in Manchester.This is a hands on tech lead position so as well as being able to develop yourself in Java you would ideally you would also have the ability to be hands on within Devops as there will be an element of this within the project.
