At Travel and Transport Statesman, we're passionate about business travel. Our success is built on expert personal service. Now we're looking for an inquisitive, inventive and ambitious Data Analyst with SQL/VBA experience to help us keep our clients in the picture through effective Management Information Systems (MIS).

Come and be part of one of the UK's biggest success stories in the world of business travel, event management and associated services. Thanks to hiring close-knit teams of experienced, knowledgeable, dedicated people like you, Travel and Transport Statesman has tripled in size in recent years and we're now poised for further, exciting growth. If you want to think even bigger, we're also part of Travel and Transport Inc., one of the world's largest corporate travel agents, which was voted as one of the Best Midsize Employers 2018 by Forbes. There's no limit to how far you could go.

We have a great opportunity for a technically strong, customer-focused Data Analyst with SQL/VBA skills to help us share and interpret data, both to improve the way we operate and for the benefit of our clients. You'll be working closely with partners and Business Managers in a fast-paced environment, as well as with the Implementation Team in ensuring start-up and change requests are managed effectively.

Providing 1st level support to internal and external customers, you'll receive report requests, analyse and build reports, and deliver reporting services and products, ensuring the highest levels of data integrity and consistency. You'll be expected to deliver strong consolidation of travel data across reporting platforms, to manage 3rd party data interfaces and to assist in the development of enhanced reporting, either in-house or through technology partners. With a constant focus on change and raising standards, your responsibilities will also include developing MI, both internally to support Operations and in support of more complex client requests.

Passionate about data, practical about problem solving, you have a good MIS/Data analysis track record, designing innovative solutions for report requirements, preferably travel related. Your advanced Excel skills (macros, modelling, pivot tables, lookups) are backed by general MS proficiency (VBA/SQL preferred), along with working knowledge of visual basic macros and ability to perform database enquiries. Experience in SAP BI reporting is an added advantage. Like everyone else here, you're not just enthusiastic and committed, you're creative too. You want to do things differently: better.

In return, you can expect to work sensible (or even, potentially, flexible) hours, Monday-Friday, in a convenient Central London location. Benefits include generous holiday allowance and fantastic industry discounts, plus profit sharing plan, contributory pension plan, reduced corporate gym membership and health cover.

You're also assured of full training and development opportunities, together with excellent career progression prospects. Travel and Transport Statesman is growing fast but at heart we're all about lasting relationships and personal reputations. Put in a good performance and it will be recognised - and rewarded.
