Care Worker TrainerPermanent, Full timeMonday to FridayFlexible locationCovering West London About the roleWe're looking to recruit an experienced Carer / Care home supervisor or manager to join our Training Division as a Regional Trainer. We are a trusted name across the training and apprenticeships market and have an enviable track record in delivering intelligent and compelling workforce development solutions and are one of the UK's largest and most reputable training providers.You'll be part of a large team of Apprenticeship Trainers and Assessors who provide training to numerous markets including Health and Social Care, Automotive, Warehousing, Facilities Management, Hospitality and Retail. Within Health & Social Care, we offer an array of Apprenticeship Programmes for learners going through level 2 - 5 qualifications. For those with leadership flair, apprenticeships are also a great route for career development, including early progression into senior management.Using your experience within health and social care, you will train and support learners who are on a 12 - 16 month Apprenticeship Programme for either Level 2, 3, 4 or 5 qualification in health and social care.You will visit the learners in the region at their workplace and deliver teaching, learning and assessment towards their Apprenticeship, including functional skills qualifications (Maths and English). You will maintain documentation within the e-portfolio system, identify and engage with potential employers and learners and build on existing client relationships.As well as being part of a business that support over 14,000 apprentices, we'll also provide you with all the training that you need to become a fully qualified Apprentice Trainer and Assessor.What do I need to do the role?You'll need to be experienced within a health & social care environment and have a keen interest in supporting people through their Apprenticeship.We would also like you to have the following:GCSE A-C in Maths & English or equivalentExcellent organisational skills and a professional demeanourHave a valid driving licence and your own carProven managerial experienceWhat else do I need to know?Salary is £27,050, increasing to £27,550 upon passing probation (6 months) then to £28,661 after 12 monthsEligible for company car after 16 monthsTravel expenses are covered.Excellent benefits.Permanent position, 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
