1st/2nd Line Support
Spring Technology is currently working with a top IT organisation to recruit for a 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer based in Tewksbury.
The Responsibilities
*To provide quick and accurate responses to queries
*To present product related functionality to team members
*To understand the impact and importance of customer issues
*Work on recurring problems reported from other departments, customers and distributors
*Provide engineer and end-user training when needed
*Work with customers with regards to implementation issues
The Requirements
*At least 2 years of previous customer service experience
*Knowledge of SQL scripts
*Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Server 2003 to most recent
*Understanding of ITIL Service Management approaches would be beneficial
*Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
*Excellent organisational skills
*Good problem solving skills with Customer focus attitude
*Positive approach to learning, following instructions and IT Service desk policies
*Experience with Linux would be beneficial
*Ability to work under pressure
