With a relaxed but professional atmosphere, this is a great place to showcase your talent but also explore other areas of the industry and technologies that you may not have encountered.Role responsibilities: '€¢To use your skill for ensuring quality to perform both web and computer systems testing on a day-to-day basis, working in accordance with organisational objectives'€¢To positively contribute to the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of the digital testing services, processes, procedures and standards'€¢To create and clearly document test plans and execute them'€¢Day-to-day liaison with internal staff, together with external users and customers on testing-related matters'€¢To gain an in-depth understanding of the end-to-end business processes and their supporting computer applications that are under test'€¢To possess and maintain a thorough and current working understanding of industry-standard computer quality assurance and systems testing processes, in both theoretical and practical terms, with particular emphasis on web and email-based applications'€¢To perform any other reasonable testing-related duties that may be assigned. This may include travel to and performance of testing activities in other offices from time-to-time Skills required: '€¢Demonstrable experience of testing Web Sites, Email, Mobile user interfaces and APIs, including the capture of data'€¢Experience with testing Web services e.g. using POSTman or SoapUI'€¢Extensive practical experience within multiple development and maintenance projects'€¢Experience loading data files and working with complex databases including solid experience of utilising SQL, minimally on an advanced query basis'€¢Needs to be a self-starter, able to document the tests required and undertake them'€¢Strong hands on experience of writing and executing manual test plans and test cases'€¢Ability to log and take ownership of the resolution of software defects'€¢Ability to assess risk and derive core functions for testing, managing testing within the timescales allowed '€¢Experience working on projects using Agile methodology'€¢Used to working in a fast paced and pressured environment'€¢Excellent written and verbal communication skills Desirable skills: '€¢Excellent test automation experience, particularly web applications coupled with either JavaScript or C# programming skills'€¢Exposure to social networking testing'€¢Experience of data warehousing and an ETL tool e.g. Informatica or SSIS Test Analyst - Web ServicesDue to the volume of applications received for positions, it will not be possible to respond to all applications and only applicants who are considered suitable for interview will be contacted.
