Devops, Software Architect, API Architect, Solution Architect, Network / Telecommunications understandingMy leading client is looking for a contract Devops / API Architect to be able to engage in technical discussions, evaluations, advises, meetings, seminars, training or any other activities that require mentoring support. It would be ideal if you have worked in start up organisation previoulsy and have experience of building out an architecture function to move to a Microservices environment.You will collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyse trade-offs between usability and performance needs. You will be resolving customer requirements by creating Functional Design Specification documents taking into consideration operational needs, system performance, usability, resolution of technical problems, risk assessment etc.Technical RequirementsMinimum 5 years of professional experience in Software Architecture.Solid Dev/Ops experienceLeadership and Mentoring skills.AWS / AzureAPI ArchitectureMicroservices + Kubernetes ContainersKnowledge of System Design and Modelling Techniques.Business awareness and strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into an application and operational requirements.Strong customer service orientation: good interpersonal and client-handling skills with the ability to manage expectations and explain technical details.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including technical writing skills, coaching, mentoring and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.Knowledge of hardware, software and programming.Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira).If this sounds of interest please submit your details ASAP
