My client is in the process of replacing all their business systems and is about to embark upon an ambitious high-profile project to implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, transforming the business through the use of new technologies.Reporting into the Financial Controller, the Systems Accountant role will take a key role in the implementation of Business Central. You will be acting as the Product Owner for the Finance function, representing Finance during the requirements gathering, creating the vision, prioritising the workload, managing the backlog, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and defining new processes to operate with the Business Central system. You will also be the main conduit from the project team to the Finance team to manage and deliver communications, priorities and implementation of change.You will be defining the data to be migrated from the current NAV system into Business Central, and will use your knowledge of Dynamics NAV and/or Business Central to create and execute user testing plans on an ongoing basis, ensuring that everything works how it should work, whether standard code, configuration, bespoke development, reporting, interfaces or migrated data. As well as performing user testing on the Finance system, you will be performing end-to-end testing on an ongoing basis, ensuring that Finance integrates correctly with other parts of the system.You should be keen and meticulous , with great verbal and written communication skills, eager to learn, able to work under pressure, and comfortable working as part of a team without constant supervision.Key SkillsQualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Dynamics 365 Business CentralBusiness process analysisExperience working within the Retail industryReporting tools such as Power BI and SSRSCommunication skills, both written and verbalTestingTrainingChange managementStart: ImmediatelyLength: 6 months initially This is a very fast paced market and this position will not be on the market long, to discuss this position in more detail please send your CV to [email protected] or call Maria on 0203 868 5026 now.
