Service Desk Support Analyst

£23,000 - £26,000 per annum Plus Performance-Related Pay Awards, Pension, Employee Assistance Programme, Company Sick Pay, Life Insurance, Shopping Discounts

Our client is one of the UK's leading rehoming organisations for animals. They support sick, injured and homeless pets and care for more than 40,000 animals every year through their rehoming, veterinary and education programmes. 

They are now looking for a Service Desk Support Analyst to join their IT Service Desk, which supports over 1,000 staff across 70 UK locations.

As a Service Desk Support Analyst, you will: 

- Provide 1st and 2nd line support 
- Communicate with users in a friendly, professional manner 
- Provide support for desktop and notebook computers, printers and telephones
- Order, install and configure IT equipment 
- Escalate technical issues to the most appropriate team member when necessary 
- Occasionally travel to our client's other sites to provide technical support 

Interested? To be considered as a Service Desk Support Analyst, you'll need: 

- Experience of 1st and/or 2nd line support 
- Excellent knowledge of Windows 7 and 10 
- A good understanding of Microsoft Office 2010, 2013 and 365 
- Knowledge of Active Directory users and computers 
- An understanding of IP networking, switches and patching
- The ability to configure computers and peripherals 
- ITIL knowledge 
- Strong customer service skills 
- To be educated to A Level standard (or equivalent)

Experience with Apple MacBook or IP based cloud telephone systems would be beneficial.
