Role: Source to Contract Global Process Owner

Location: London

Contract: £500 - £550

The role:

Our leading client requires a Source to Contract / Business Process Leader with the ability to own and develop all business processes relating to Source to Contract and Supplier Management Procurement Business Process.

Requirement:

*Build and maintain a detailed understanding of the business requirements across Source to Contract (S2C) and Supplier Management (SM):

*Develop the S2C and SM systems strategy for Procurement Processes and Systems

*Based on the business requirements, build a strategy document for S2C and SM processes and systems, informed by the prevailing best practice and the current solution landscape and focused on delivery of value in Procurement

*Own the process of selecting the appropriate systems enabler for processes under ownership

*Propose, communicate, agree, prioritise the necessary initiatives to deliver the programme

*Initiate, mobilise, lead and deliver projects to implement the strategy, working closely with the internal and external solution providers

*As a key element of implementing the strategy, drive process standardisation, implementation and adoption across S2C and SM

*Develop, own and maintain the S2C and SM Business Processes, including the standards, the process documentation, the detailed work instructions, process controls, reporting, training, testing and if applicable, the country process variants, as well as compliance with BilMoG

*Drive, support, monitor and influence the deployment of the S2C and SM Business Processes and ensure its full adoption through appropriate engagement, change management, training and communication, including use of SAP and any e-Procurement solutions that might be selected in the future

*Drive improvements in process design and quality

*Monitor the process and data quality and drive improvements through definition, ownership and monitoring of process reporting and KPIs

*Drive continuous improvement and best practice in S2C and SM processes, ensuring the best return on the investment in the systems solutions and supporting delivery of benefits from the ERP Programme

*Provide the strategic, tactical and detailed operational expertise on the S2C and SM processes and solution through in-depth understanding of the best practice and latest developments in solutions and approach

*Collaborate with other Procurement GPOs and across Engineering and Finance GPOs to ensure end to end integration and consistency and process and systems quality improvements

Essential:

*Extensive technical and functional expertise in the S2C and SM area

*Deep practical expertise with any of the major e-Procurement solutions (Ariba, Bravo, Coupa etc)

*Strong understanding and familiarity with the leading S2C and SM solutions and platforms

*Business Process Management experience evidenced through a process ownership role, and evidence of structured approach to process and systems management

*Project and Change Management experience evidenced through independent end to end delivery of at least one major project within Processes and Systems management

*Solid experience of successful delivery whilst working across diverse business with varied structure and process maturity

*Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills and experience in managing conflicting priorities

*Excellent written and spoken communication skills and evidence of concise, structured, thought-through communication

*Cultural sensitivity and significant experience of working in an international environment

Desirable:

*Understanding of change management concepts, frameworks and issues

*Understanding of the SAP Procurement data model, structure and content

*Experience working within a mature ERP systems culture / SSC environment

Regular (Monthly) European travel to be expected

Multilingual candidate would be advantageous
