SQL Server Database Administrator/SQL Server DBA - Altrincham£40,000 - £50,000 plus benefits
We develop enterprise level software solutions for our clients and everything is built from scratch in house.
We are looking for a talented SQL DBA to join the team here in Altrincham with a salary of up to £50,000.
The Company

Your Duties
Configure, manage and maintain various SQL servers on different productsSupport the development and delivery of SQL databases, SSIS packages and various other processes such as refactoring, optimisation and performance testingUpgrade and help modernise how we work, implementing change where possible, focusing on disaster recovery, business continuity and compliance, ensuring best practice is followed at all timesMonitor systems health and performance, ensuring high levels of performance, security and availability are a focusShare domain and technical expertise as much as possible with the wider team, offering mentoring to team members if you see it could add some valueTake ownership and thoroughly investigate escalated tickets from the service deskWork collaboratively with your peers to resolve issues in a timely manner
Your Skills: You will have knowledge of working with SQL Server 2012, 2014 and 2016
Knowledge of disaster recovery and high availability systems
Ability to back up, restore, upgrade and migrate
Excellent troubleshooting, problem solving and performance tuning skills
Have a genuine passion for technology
Starting salary £40,000-£50,000, 23 days holiday + bank holidays, onsite parking, flexible working hours with some home working, contributory pension, free lunches/nights out, regular team building events, quiz nights etc.
