BRIEF DETAILS 
We are currently working with an automotive business based in Buckinghamshire who are looking for a Trackside Systems Engineer (Formula-1) to take part in the development of Formula-1 power-units (ICE and ERS systems). You'll be part of a team which looks after the operation and reliability of the Power Units at Trackside and factory settings, supporting the development of F1 Engines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage and take care of power-unit operations and control data Attend simulator sessions with the chassis team Support trackside activities within the mission control room Understand control specifications/algorithms, create and setup control data Collect results and improve the control data setting Engine fire-up responsibilities Monitoring power units during operation Fault logging Create daily reports regarding trackside feedbackESSENTIAL SKILLS Knowledge of F1 Power Units / ERS Energy Management Exposure to a Trackside setting Familiar with ATLAS, SystemMonitor and related tools Able to build good relationships across various internal/external cultures UK Driver's LicenseDESIRABLE (NOT ESSENTIAL) Degree in Motorsport or related discipline Able to speak any other languages Any other related formal qualificationsPlease note: Overseas travel will be required as part of this role.
