A London-headquartered company providing advanced video/image processing hardware and software solutions to media, entertainment, aerospace and many other industries/companies all around the world...

Having developed an innovative approach to image and video compression that is driving major change in the encoding sector, There is now a requirement to strengthen the Software team... Specifically within the Research department for high performance video processing.

Responsibilities:
 Contribution to algorithmic improvementsContribution to temporal algorithmic improvementsProvide expertise on applying AI/ML to all algorithms along with other colleaguesRequired skills/qualifications:

Extensive knowledge in the fields of:
 image and signal processingnumerical methodscompression methodsstatisticsmachine learningalgorithmsProven track record of both research and engineering projects and rolesGood command of:
 Python (NumPy, SciPy, Tensorflow)C++MatlabRelevant degree (at least BSc) in either Computer Science, Maths, Physics or Electronic Engineering
 Should have good working understanding of Agile development and test driven developmentShould be keen on writing unit, functional and other forms of testing.Knowledge of Pytest, Google test framework or other unit testing framework.Desired:
 Strong AI/ML application experience , preferably from an algorithmic perspectiveC++ and GPU knowledgeWorking knowledge of docker or other container platforms.Good working understanding of ci/cd and it's importance.
