Real Time Recruitment Solutions https://www.rtrs.co.uk Software Engineer (Video Analytics) - London - Up to £55,000 + Bens...The successful candidate will join a team of software developers and contribute to the development and evaluate the performance of a video analytic system.
Both imagery and video data are acquired in which object detection and recognition intelligent analysis (statistical machine learning) is performed.
Role Responsibilities:
• Work within a multi-disciplinary software development team, although also able to work independently, and take ownership of software development tasks from specification to completion.
• Complete developer level unit and integration testing of developed features to verify functionality and operation within limits.
• Investigate and solve problems discovered by evaluation testing, product support and by customers and contribute to a resolution plan for each issue.
Essential Knowledge/Skills:
• Degree in computer science and engineering, with computer vision and machine learning specialization.
• Algorithm optimisation and adaptation
• Strong programming skills o TensorFlow, PyTorch, C++, Python
• Good knowledge of working in Linux environments
• Experience of at least one relational database, such as MySQL
Desirable Knowledge/Skills:
• Exposure to multi-threaded applications.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices
• Knowledge of integration/performance test tools and frameworks
• Knowledge of production deployments would be an advantage
• Understanding of preparing of web graphics (nice to have).
• Java knowledge leading to commercial Java and J2EE design, development and developing scalable applications.
On offer is up to £55,000 with some flexibility dependent on skillset/suitability...
