About the role

As our Business Analyst, you'll be a trusted advisor at BEIS. We'll look to you for independent and unbiased critical analysis, ensuring outcomes and deliverables align with the business strategy, service vision and business architecture. We'll assign you to a number of programmes and projects, for which you'll have key responsibility for the quality and coverage of requirements. You'll influence and negotiate with stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes for all.

What we're looking for

You're able to investigate, analyse, articulate and solve complex problems and concepts. Crucially, you ensure a solution that both aligns with the needs of the business and of users. You're able to translate user stories and propose design approaches, and you successfully manage relationships, communicating clearly and regularly, through consultation. You employ business modelling and a business improvement process to identify and explore change. Of course, you also understand agile methodology and you know how to apply this mindset. Unafraid to take risks or learn from mistakes, you appreciate the importance of agile project delivery for digital projects within government.
