Network EngineerWe have an exciting opportunity for a Network Engineer to join an expanding and innovative tech blue-chip at their Head Office in Hatfield. The primary goal of the Network Engineer is to ensure the company's primarily Juniper-based networks & business technology runs effectively and all opportunities to automate processes are taken to increase efficiency.The successful Network Engineer will be the go-to person for questions and queries and therefore you must be comfortable troubleshooting networking, routing and inter-connectivity problems, including troubleshooting of network device hardware failures. The Network Engineer will also be responsible for identifying and fixing recurring platform problems whilst collaborating with project teams and colleagues to look for continuous service improvements through automation, monitoring and alerting.The network team will be expanding rapidly over the next 12-18 months so all skill levels, from junior to expert, will be considered!Skills and experience required for the Network Engineer:Hands-on experience with either Juniper or Cisco products - certifications (i.e. CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP etc.) are desirable.Working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems.Ability to confidently script in either Shell and/or Python.Practical knowledge/experience in SDN and SD-WAN is highly desirable.This is an excellent opportunity for a Network Engineer to undertake technically stretching work in a stimulating and sociable environment where you can push technological boundaries.
